AFS Egypt offers young people around the world the opportunity to discover the fascinating culture of Egypt. Through our various programs, we are able to accommodate the needs and interests of anyone interested to learn about the Egyptian culture, learn Arabic or simply enjoy the charm of Egypt. We offer our Year Program (11 months) for high school students to study in an Egyptian high school for one year. Our Summer Language Program offers 4 weeks of intensive Arabic. Our Community Service Program offers young adults the opportunity to volunteer in our local communities. We have short-term exchanges for educators and volunteers. All this takes place, while living with Egyptian host families and enjoying the many activities our local volunteers organize.
